Truck Ignites Next To Gas Pump At Richmond Gas Station

RICHMOND, TX -- The Fort Bend County Fire Marshal’s Office is looking into what caused a pickup truck to ignite in flames at a gas pump Friday night.

According to police, the driver of the pickup stopped at a Shell station on Crabb River Road and FM 2759 at 9 p.m. for gas and reportedly burst into flames

There were no injuries.

Officers said the fire destroyed the truck and burned part of the gas pump and canopy over the pump stations.
