Two Sugar Land Men Hit By Train In Critical Condition

Two men who were walking along the train tracks Tuesday evening where hit and critically injured.

SUGAR LAND, TX — Two men were critically injured Tuesday evening after they were both struck by a train as the walked along the railroad tracks.

The accident was reported at about 7:45 p.m., near University Blvd. and US 90 in Sugar Land.

Officials with the Sugar Land Police said the men were walking along the tracks when they were both hit by the westbound train.

One of the men was taken by ambulance to an area hospital in critical condition, and the other was taken by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

The identities of the men have not yet been released.
