• Samsung Foundry 2nm Yield Hits 60%; Chips Still Drain More Power Than Snapdragon (techtimes.com) — Samsung's push to improve its 2nm chip yields and power efficiency has big implications for its new fab in Taylor, where 2nm capacity is slated for 2026 and volume production in 2027. The facility is expected to build Tesla's AI chip and could become a major local economic engine, tying Taylor directly into the global race for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
