Harmony School of Innovation-Waco earned an 88 "B" rating in the Texas Education Agency's 2026 statewide accountability ratings, marking a six-point increase over its 2025 performance.
The campus demonstrated standout achievement in key state evaluation categories, earning an 89 in Closing the Gaps and an 87 in Student Achievement. The results reflect HSI-Waco's commitment to college and career readiness, STEM education, and equitable student growth across the Greater Waco area.
Demonstrating the charter network's commitment to rigorous STEM education and student growth, 11 regional campuses earned top "A" or "B" ratings. Across Texas, Harmony students outperformed state averages in all 20 STAAR subject areas, exceeding state benchmarks by up to 17 percentage points in Algebra I.
"These TEA ratings are a testament to what happens when high expectations meet unwavering support in our North Texas classrooms," said Mr. Harun Karan, Area Superintendent for Harmony Public Schools-North Texas. "Our students, teachers, and staff have raised the bar once again, proving that every child can achieve remarkable growth when empowered with the right tools, culture, and encouragement."
Harmony campuses also excelled in TEA distinctions, with 35 campuses earning four or more distinctions and 20 campuses receiving all possible distinctions for student achievement, academic growth, postsecondary readiness and subject-specific performance. These results reflect Harmony's continued investment in rigorous academics, targeted student supports, and high-quality instruction that prepares every student for long-term success.
