The people who keep Harmony Public Schools-North Texas campuses running and students moving forward will see a larger retention bonus this fall following a stronger-than-projected financial year for the district.
The district will increase retention bonus payouts for eligible staff returning for the 2026-2027 school year. Leadership said the stronger financial performance reflects the work of employees across the district to support student retention and recruitment while managing resources responsibly.
"This increased bonus is a direct reflection of our appreciation for the incredible work happening across our campuses every day," said Harun Karan, area superintendent for Harmony Public Schools-North Texas. "Our staff's commitment to students helps keep our schools academically strong, operationally effective and financially healthy."
Under the updated bonus structure:
Bonuses are scheduled to be distributed during the week of Oct. 19-23, 2026.
The increased bonuses recognize the staff members who returned to Harmony this school year and continue supporting students and campuses across DFW and Waco.
Harmony Public Schools is currently accepting applications for both studentsand team members.
