Harmony Public Schools–North Texas Honors District Parent of the Year

The annual recognition honors a parent whose leadership and commitment have made a meaningful and lasting impact on their campus.

DALLAS, Texas — Harmony Public Schools–North Texas Secondary proudly recognized Hannah Ramsey of Harmony School of Innovation-Garland as the District Parent of the Year during its recent end-of-year awards banquet.

The annual recognition honors a parent whose leadership, involvement and commitment have made a meaningful and lasting impact on their campus community.

As a busy working mother, Ramsey consistently finds time to support students, staff and school activities whenever possible. Her dedication to volunteering, assisting with campus events and fostering a positive school environment has made her a valued partner in the Harmony community.

Campus leaders at Harmony School of Innovation-Garland praised Ramsey's unwavering commitment to the school and its students.

"We are so thankful for the time, support and dedication she has given to our campus," campus leadership shared. "Mrs. Ramsey consistently goes above and beyond to support our students, staff and school community. Her kindness, generosity and willingness to help wherever needed truly make a difference."

Harun Karan, area superintendent for Harmony Public Schools–North Texas Secondary, said engaged families play a vital role in student success and strengthening school communities.

"Parents like Hannah Ramsey and all of our campus Parents of the Year help create the collaborative and supportive school communities that make Harmony special," Karan said. "Their involvement, encouragement and partnership have a meaningful impact on our students, staff and campuses. We are grateful for Mrs. Ramsey's contributions and for the dedication shown by parents across our district."
