β’ The Woodlands Township slates $600K for sports facility study (communityimpact.com) β The Woodlands Township board has earmarked $600,000 in its 2027 budget to study a potential multi-use indoor sportsplex, possibly at Bear Branch Park or another major township park. Leaders are exploring a partnership with Conroe ISD for an air-conditioned facility that could host soccer, football, lacrosse, band practice, and more, aiming to boost both community use and township revenue.
