• The Woodlands Township slates $600K for multiplex sports facility study (communityimpact.com) — The Woodlands Township board has earmarked $600,000 in its proposed 2027 budget to study a potential indoor multiplex sports facility that could be built in Bear Branch Park or another major township park. Directors are exploring a partnership with Conroe ISD for an air-conditioned complex that could host soccer, football, lacrosse, band practice, and more, potentially replacing a previously discussed skate and bike loop project.
