• 2026 Local Fall Festivals in The Woodlands & Montgomery County area (hellowoodlands.com) — Get your fall calendar ready: dozens of festivals, from The Woodlands Fine Craft, Art & Design Show to the Wildflower Festival, Shakespeare in the Park, and Pavilion Palooza, are scheduled in and around The Woodlands through November. • The Woodlands U Is Here, Offering Special Classes On the Pioneering Masterplanned Community (papercitymag.com) — A new nonprofit program called The Woodlands U is launching this fall to teach residents about The Woodlands' 50-year history, governance, and future. Seven evening sessions, held at locations around the township starting September 22 for a $75 fee, will feature longtime community leaders explaining George Mitchell's original vision, village roles, and how local decisions are made today.
   

• The 2020 Norcross, GA Murder of Tyler Hall is Now Solved (dnasolves.com) — Forensic experts at Othram's lab in The Woodlands helped Georgia investigators finally identify a suspect in the 2020 murder of Tyler Hall in Norcross using advanced DNA and genealogical analysis. Their work led authorities to charge an already-incarcerated man with multiple counts, while the investigation and tip line remain active as prosecutors prepare the case.
