A new task force has opened 16 additional cases, leaving 32 of the neighborhood's 79 homes with active deed‑restriction violations as the township pursues legal remedies against absentee and estate owners.
• Entergy Texas powers Holiday on The Waterway in new partnership with The Woodlands Township (hellowoodlands.com) — Holiday on The Waterway in The Woodlands is getting a boost this season, with Entergy Texas becoming the presenting sponsor and helping keep the massive lights display free for residents. Running nightly from the Saturday before Thanksgiving through early January, the Waterway will feature over a million lights, trolley access, and added seasonal programming supported by this new partnership.
• Memorial Hermann's In the Pink of Health breaks Fundraising Records at 26th Annual Luncheon (hellowoodlands.com) — A packed crowd at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott helped Memorial Hermann's In the Pink of Health luncheon smash fundraising records for local breast and ovarian cancer programs. With strong support from area sponsors and survivors' stories, the event will fund free mammograms, wigs, prostheses, and survivorship services through Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center serving patients across Montgomery County.
