Couple Awakens To Find Strange Man Watching Them Sleep
Homeowner chases man from home; man arrested the next day on burglary charges.

SPRING, TX -- A 33-year old man was arrested after a couple awoke early Sunday morning and found the man standing over their bed watching them sleep.
Deputies from the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constables were called to the home in the 3100 block of Legends Creek Drive at 4:15 a.m. for a burglary.
Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3 Chief Deputy Matt Rodrigue told investigators that the man grabbed his girlfriend's leg while she was asleep in the home at the time.

Rodrigue said his girlfriend hit at her leg believing the person trying to wake her up was her son.
When she realized the hand belonged to a stranger, she woke Rodrigue who chased the burglar down the street.

The burglar got away.
Security cameras at the home recorded the man breaking into the house, but Rodrigue said they had no idea how long he was in the home.
On Monday, the constable’s office received a call in the same neighborhood of a prowler, and arrested a man, identified as Lonnie Jones.
Rodrigue said Jones is the same man he chased from his home early Sunday morning.
Jones was out on bail for a child indecency charge when he was arrested.
He was charged with burglary of a habitation, and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
