Former Gov. Rick Perry Will Be Keynote Speaker at The Woodlands 2017 Economic Outlook Conference

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry will be the keynote speaker of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce 2017 Economic Outlook Conference on Jan 27.

The Economic Outlook Conference provides the business community with the opportunity to gain
valuable insight into the projected growth in Montgomery County and Texas.

The economic outlook conference will feature a number of speakers who will provide insight to the economies in the local area, and in Texas, including U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, of the 8th District, followed by Gil Staley, chief executive officer of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership, Alex Sutton and Tim Welbes, co-presidents of The Woodlands Development Company for a community update, and morning keynote speakers Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar and Heidi Cruz, managing director at Goldman Sachs.

The day will end with Perry, the luncheon keynote speaker.

The conference will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
