Harvey Relief Efforts Continue In Montgomery County

United Way of Greater Houston's Montgomery County Center will meet with other community organizations to gauge unmet needs post-Harvey.

THE WOODLANDS, TX — It’s been more than a year since Hurricane Harvey raavaged the Texas coast, destroying homes and businesses in its wake. For many in Houston and the surrounding area, the rebuilding process hasn’t ended and that means people still need help.

Next week, the United Way of Greater Houston’s Montgomery County Center will host a round table discussion with other community organizations to gauge the needs of those still recovering from Hurricane Harvey.

The American Red Cross has helped thousands in the Texas Gulf Coast region, providing $230 million in immediate financial assistance for people working to put their lives back together, according to their website.
