Lock And Load: Coffee Shop That Lets Customers Pack Heat Opening In The Woodlands
Operator Coffee Company will have armed baristas and cater to ex-military, cops and pro-second amendment.
THE WOODLANDS, TX — Texans who are licensed to carry a handgun are used to seeing the signs prohibiting them at area businesses, but one coffee shop that plans to open its doors in 2018, won’t mind if their customers are legally packing heat.
Operator Coffee Co., a veteran-owned company geared toward military veterans, gun enthusiasts and supporters of the Second Amendment, is zeroed in on opening in The Woodlands in Spring 2018, and is looking for locations along FM 1488, between Interstate 45 and FM 2978.

Once it’s up and running, the customers won’t be the only ones packing heat, the company plans to hire baristas who are all licensed while serving their clientele.
And while many businesses and coffee companies, at least pretend to avoid the appearance of politics, Operator Coffee Co. vows to not shy from talking politics and claims to espouse true conservative values.

The shop, which will serve regular roasted coffee, as well as latte’s milkshakes, and food, will also serve as a meeting place and outlet for military veterans, Pro-2nd Amendment supporters and law enforcement officers to gather and share like experiences, or gather for trips to the shooting range, according to their website.
