Man Killed When Motorcycle Hits Van On FM 1960 In Spring

SPRING, TX -- The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a motorcycle accident that killed a man early Friday morning

The accident happened at about 6 a.m. on FM 1960 and Jones Road, in northwest Houston.

Witnesses told investigators that a gray Dodge Caravan was making a left turn from a center median on FM 1960, and turned in the path of the motorcycle.

The 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle hit the side of the van, critically injuring the motorcycle driver, who ended up beneath the van.

He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The accident is under investigation.

No charges have been filed.
