Tomball Student Arrested For Making Threat At Tomball High School
17-year old Corbin Pacheco was arrested Wednesday after posting a hoax on social media that warned students not to come to school.
TOMBALL, TX β A 17-year old Tomball High School student was arrested Wednesday after police said he posted a photo of an AR-15 on a social media platform, with the words: "Don't come to school tomorrow."
Corbin Pacheco was arrested by a Tomball High School Resource Officer at the campus Wednesday afternoon, after Tomball ISD and the Tomball Police Department were alerted to the post.
Pacheco allegedly told police he posted the image as a joke, but no one thoght it was funny.

Pacheco was charged with a misdemeanor charge of threatening to exhibit or use a firearm at school.
A judge set bail at $5,000 and Pacheco was later released.

The Tomball Police Department released a YouTube video Wednesday addressing the issue, and said that while this may have been a joke, the district and Tomball PD take all threats very seriously.
Tomball ISD has not released an official statement on the incident.
