Police Search for Woman Who Robbed a Montgomery County Bank

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Police are looking for a woman who police say robbed a Montgomery County bank Tuesday afternoon.

Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said that at about 1:35 p.m. a woman passed a note to a teller at a Chase Bank in the 2100 block of Rayford Road.

Investigators said the note passed to the teller demanded money and stating she had a gun and would kill the teller if necessary.

Witnesses told investigators that there were customers in the bank at the time of the robbery and that the teller never saw a weapon.

Deputies said the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the woman left the scene in a red Dodge or Toyota passenger car that was also occupied by an unidentified black man.
