Runners Lacing Up For Woodlands Marathon This Weekend
The Woodlands Marathon event attracts hundreds each year and has activities for all family members that include several family fun events.
THE WOODLANDS, TX — If a trip to The Woodlands is in your plans this weekend, you may want to plan for later in the day.
The annual Woodlands Marathon will be happening on Saturday, March 3 from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the plethora of runners and walkers are sure to cause traffic delays.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department posted a reminder of the race on its Facebook Page on Tuesday.

The annual marathon is produced by The Woodlands Marathon Management, LLC, whose mission it is to produce a world-class event while promoting healthy active lifestyles.
According to the organizations website, The Woodlands Marathon Management, LLC wants to make a positive impact in the local community, Houston region and across the nation through the sport of running.
