Tomball Hosting National Day Of Prayer Observance
Tomball's National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday, May 3 at Tomball's Depot Plaza.

TOMBALL, TX — Residents, business owners, and others are invited to join with city officials and faith leaders for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3 at Tomball’s Depot Plaza.
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation.
It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.Scheduled to lead prayers at this year’s event will be:
- Chaplain Steve Allison – VFW Post 2427
- Pastor Richard Jenning – River of Praise
- Pastor James Roberson – Hufsmith Church of Christ
- Pastor Mike Hernandez – The Pointe Fellowship
Music for the event will be led by Andrew Parsons, Director of Youth Ministries at Tomball United Methodist Church. Tomball High School JROTC will present the Colors.

National Day of Prayer will be observed from noon to 12:30 pm at the Depot Plaza gazebo, 201 South Elm at Market Street, near the historic 1907 Depot.
