Last Day To Apply For Tomball ISD 4th Annual Principal Partners Program
Program pairs school principals with applicants to spend a few hours learn the basic inner workings of a Tomball ISD campus.
TOMBALL, TX — Do you want to know what it’s like to be the principal of an elementary school, middle school, or a high school?
Tomball ISD is taking applications from parents, civic leaders and community leaders, for the 4th Annual Principal Partners happening on Oct. 24.

“This event provides an opportunity to foster partnerships with those in the private sector,” Dr. Amy Schindewolf, chief academic officer, Tomball ISD, said. “It’s also an opportunity for those in our community to demonstrate their commitment to ensuring a quality public education for all students.”
On the day of the visit, the partners will spend time with the principal, faculty, and students sharing ideas and learning about the school’s day-to-day operations.

A guest principal might teach a class, meet with student council members, attend student performances, read to students, shadow the principal, or address a class assembly.
Partners will be matched with an elementary, intermediate, junior high, or high school based on the participant’s area of expertise, interests, and the school’s needs.
At the end of the visit, all guest principals will convene with the superintendent of schools and discuss their experiences and potential plans for future involvement with their host school at a luncheon to be held in their honor.
“We look forward to community participation in our schools and we’re excited to meet those who would like to serve as a Principal Partner,” Schindewolf said.
Community members interested in signing up should complete the Principal Partners application on the Tomball ISD website at tomballisd.net.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, Oct. 11. All applications should be submitted by mail or dropped off at Tomball ISD, 310 S. Cherry Street, Tomball, TX 77375.
