Two Woodlands Men Arrested After Three-Day Crime Spree In Florida

THE WOODLANDS, TX — A road trip to Florida from The Woodlands turned into a crime spree that landed two 18-year old men behind bars.

Mark Billiot, 18, and Donovan Estrada, 18 are accused of burglarizing several cars in a subdivision in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and face numerous charges including burglary, vehicle burglary, criminal mischief over $1,000 and grand theft.

Investigators with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office said the two men documented their criminal exploits with SnapChat during their multi-day crime spree, showing off stolen items, KPRC reported.

The first of several incidents started July 24, when the men allegedly stole several pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses from a store in Panama City Beach.

Afterward the two men allegedly continued their crime spree with car burglaries, vandalizing a model home in a nearby subdivision, and a hit-and-run accident.

The two were arrested when a witness reported seeing their car with body damage behind a home where one of the car burglaries occurred.

Investigators said the car matched the description of the car that hit another car on Interstate 10, and fled the area, KTRK reported.

Investigators found the stolen material in a room where the two men were staying, ploice said.

More charges against the two could be pending, officials said.
