Woodlands Music Teacher Accused of Sexually Assaulting Child During Private Music Lesson
Man worked as an instructor for two years; investigators fear other victims could emerge.
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- A Tomball music teacher is in the Montgomery County Jail and faces sexual assault of a child charges after he allegedly sexually abused a child during a private lesson at a music store in The Woodlands.
Bernardo Placencia was an instructor at the School of Rock on FM 2978 for several years, and routinely gave private lessons, often with children under 18.
According to investigators, a complaint was made to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in November of sexual abuse of a child.

Investigators said the incident involved a child who was younger than 14, but that investigators believe Placencia may have assaulted other children over the last two years.
Placencia was charged with first degree sexual assault of a child and is in the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
