The Woodlands Solid Waste Services Not Impacted By Holiday Weekend

For trouble-free pick-up, please place carts at the curb before 7 a.m. on your regular pick-up day.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (June 30, 2020) – The Woodlands Township reminds residents that all solid waste services in the community will occur as usual over the Fourth of July holiday. There will be no interruption or delay of trash, recycling, yard trimmings or Simple Recycling (textiles) services due to the holiday. All services will be provided on regular service days.

For trouble-free pick-up, please place carts at the curb before 7 a.m. on your regular pick-up day. Keep streets clear of parked cars to allow trucks to safely access carts. Please make sure lids on carts close completely and follow service guidelines. Failure to follow guidelines will result in items being left at the curb.

The Woodlands Recycling Center (5402 Research Forest Drive) will maintain its normal hours. Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents are reminded to recycle all plastic bottles and aluminum cans! Remember to only recycle accepted items, empty and rinse containers and replace caps and do not bag recyclables before placing them in the cart.

Per the holiday collection schedule, the only holidays that affect residential trash and recycling services are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Please visit www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/holidaytrash.
