The Woodlands Township: Trash Service Not Interrupted By Holiday Weekend

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (September 3, 2021) – The Woodlands Township reminds residents that all solid waste services in the community will occur as usual over the Labor Day holiday with no interruptions or delay of services. Collection of trash, recycling, and yard waste will occur on regular service days, including Monday, September 6, 2021.

For a trouble-free pick-up, please place carts at the curb before 7 a.m. on your regular pick-up day. Keep streets clear of parked cars to allow trucks to access carts. Please make sure that lids on carts close completely and follow service guidelines.

Failure to follow guidelines will result in items being left at the curb.

The Woodlands Recycling Center on Research Forest Drive remains open every Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Per the Holiday Collection Schedule, the only holidays that affect residential trash and recycling collection are New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
