Woodlands Township Warns Residents Of Phone Scam
Scam involving phone solicitors posing as representatives from Waste Management are reportedly asking residents to pay up.

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Waste Management, the recycling and solid waste contractor for The Woodlands Township, says telephone scammers are reportedly representing themselves as Waste Management agents and asking for payment for services.
Waste Management’s security department is actively working on the issue.
No residents have contacted Waste Management or the Township directly, but the Township advises residents to be aware.

Residential Waste Management services in both the Montgomery County and Harris County portions of The Woodlands Township are funded through taxes collected annually by The Woodlands Township through the Montgomery County Tax Assessor’s Office.

Residents pay for the service through their tax dollars.
Waste Management does not collect monies from individuals for services in The Woodlands.
Please do not provide any credit card or bank information to anyone requesting payment for residential Waste Management services by phone.
