The Woodlands Township: The Woodlands Township To Host Veterans Day Tribute

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (November 8, 2021) – The Woodlands Township invites the community to honor military men and women at the Veterans Day Tribute on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. in Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380.

The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute will feature a presentation of colors, the Our Community Salutes Ceremony that helps communities recognize, honor and support local high school seniors who plan to enlist into the U.S. Armed Services after graduation, musical performances and a swearing ceremony for future soldiers. The Keynote Speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel Sam Kim, Special Forces and Commander, U.S. Amy Recruiting Battalion – Houston. A care package drop-off booth will also be on site to accept donations of recommended items to be shipped to the troops abroad. 

Free parking for the event will be available in the Town Center Garage at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, located at the corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines Drive. Complimentary water will be available while supplies last, courtesy of H-E-B.

Those planning to attend the event should practice social distancing, refrain from gathering in large groups and continue to follow all guidelines established by the CDC. Face coverings are optional. Please note all information is subject to change, pending local, state and federal Orders or Declarations.
