- Limetree Bay Refinery will go to auction - again. In a surprise ruling, the bankruptcy judge overseeing the auction of Limetree Bay ordered the company to go back on the auction block to allow West Indies Petroleum to place a bid. West Indies Petroleum has already committed to $30 million. Find out why via the Virgin Islands Daily News.
- The VIPD released the identities of two individuals arrested after the Havensight armed robbery and shooting on Saturday. Kevon Barclette, 20 of the Paul M. Pearson Gardens and Shemar Coward, 21 of Water Bay Condominiums were taken into custody on Saturday afternoon after officers tried to pull over the vehicle they were traveling in. They were found with multiple firearms. A third suspect escaped. Barclette and Coward are charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and remain in custody as police try to determine if they were responsible for the Havensight shooting. The V.I. - Meanwhile, Crime Stoppers USVI is offering $25,000 rewards for tips that led to the arrest of the suspects in Saturday’s incident. Find out more in The Source.
