Dead Body Found In St. Croix Apartment Identified
Police have released the name of the victim, Michael Scott, age 48 of Estate Pete, and confirmed that he died from multiple gunshot wounds.
ST. CROIX, USVI — On July 4, police discovered the decomposed body of an adult male in an apartment in Estate Peter’s Rest. At the time, the V.I. Police Department confirmed that the man had died under suspicious circumstances, but they could not identify the body or time of death.
According to the latest VIPD statement, an autopsy disclosed the victim died after being shot multiple times. The victim has also been identified as Michael Scott, age 48 of Estate Peter’s Rest. The case is being investigated as a homicide by the Major Crime Unit.
