π± Frontier Buys Spirit + Caneel Bay Presentation Tonight

- Frontier Airlines will purchase Spirit Airlines in a deal valued at $6.6 billion, Frontier and Spirit are two of the largest low-fare airlines in the U.S. and both offer regular flights to the USVI, via the VI Consortium.
- The National Park Service is presenting four possible options for redeveloping the Caneel Bay Resort property. The park service will present the options to the public in an online meeting tonight at 6 p.m. "Caneel Bay Resort owner CBI Acquisitions’ Retained Use Estate agreement with the NPS will end in September 2023, at which point the 150-acre property will be returned to the Park Service, via the Virgin Islands Daily News. The public is invited to weigh in on the options.
- The COVID-19 death toll reached 104 after a 64-year-old woman died on St. Thomas, via The Source.
