Limetree Bay Refinery Prepares To File For Bankruptcy

Limetree is preparing to file for bankruptcy after shutting down operations on St. Croix.

ST. CROIX, USVI — Limetree Bay Energy, the company behind Limetree Bay Refinery, is preparing for a bankruptcy filing, according to Bloomberg Law. Limetree Bay shut down operations in June due to re-occuring operational issues.

As reported by Bloomberg, the energy company is seeking debtor-in-possession financing that will potentiallly help it restructure in bankruptcy court.
