Any business or entity planning on hosting a special event for Halloween must submit a special event request form to the V.I. Dept. of Health no later than Friday, October 22 at 5 p.m. Given the risk of spreading COVID-19, the D.O.H. also requires event coordinators to submit a thorough Covid-19 safety plan for their events. Island Therapy Solutions is offering a job-prep program for adults with disabilities or developmental delays. The program, which ran the first workshop in August 2020, says 100 percent of those who took part in the 2020 workshop have been placed in a job and have retained their positions.
