Here are the top stories in US Virgin Islands today:
- Paradise Jam is back and it is game-week in the USVI. The basketball tournament is hosted by the University of the Virgin Islands and all games are played at UVI's Sports and Fitness Center. The men's tournament started on Friday and will continue through Monday. The women's tournament will run Nov. 23-28. Check out the full schedule here.
- On Tuesday, VIPD officers responded to reports of a missing female minor at the Margaritaville Vacation Club. Family members reported last seeing her near the pool. At 11:08 p.m. that evening, the minor was located - unconscious - near Building 9. Upon regaining consciousness, she had no recollection of how she ended up near the building. The investigation is ongoing. (St. Croix Source)
- Federal prosecutors have charged Elijah Hakim with conspiracy to possess and sell fentanyl in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The investigation began in April when multiple federal agencies opened a criminal investigation following a woman's possible overdose death on St. Thomas. The investigation focused on "a drug trafficking organization sending fentanyl from Georgia to the U.S. Virgin Islands via the U.S. Mail," according to the arrest warrant affidavit filed by the DEA. - St. Croix Magazine has a nice write-up on Kimba Kabaka, owner of the new St. Croix cafe "Roots N Kulchah." (St. Croix Magazine)

- The Department of Public Works (DPW) is doing emergency repairs (new concrete pavements and drainage improvements) on Route 104, near Starfish Market on St. John. Expect delays" (Facebook)

In a TikTok video that's gone viral, a new mom uses data to create a visual representation of the workload of a new parent. Fire that one back at anyone who suggests maternity leave is just an extended vacation. (Mashable)
