Police ID Victim Of Estate Contant Shooting

VIPD release the name of the man who was shot and killed on August 6 while vising an establishment in Estate Contant.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau has identified the victim of the August 6 Estate Contant shooting as 19-year-old John Paul Pelaiz. Mr. Pelaiz was a resident of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

According to police, when they arrived at the establishment on August 6, they found Mr. Pelaiz suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He ultimately died from his injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
