Police Investigating Death in Lindbergh Bay

49-year-old Joseph Jason Jackson was found unresponsive and lying in the roadway in ​Lindbergh Bay.

ST. THOMAS, USVI — On July 24, at approximately 10:32 a.m., Virgin Island police officers responded to calls of an unresponsive male at Lindbergh Bay. Officers found the male unresponsive and lying in the roadway.

Emergency Medical Technicians performed CPR and transported the male to the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center, where he subsequently died. The male was identified by relatives as 49-year-old Joseph Jason Jackson.

The cause of death is unknown at this time, pending an autopsy. This case is under investigation.
