Police Investigating Homicide in Campo Rico

The victim had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead the scene.

ST. CROIX, USVI — Police are investigating the death of Cesario Carmona Cadiz, Jr., age 23. His body was found in the Campo Rico area yesterday, April 29. He had multiple gunshot wounds.

Police were tipped off by a call to the 911 Emergency Call Center, made around 4:42 p.m, reporting a dead body in Campo Rico . When they arrived, they found an unresponsive male who was later identified as Cadiz.

Detectives are seeking residents of Campo Rico who may have heard or seen something. Contact police by calling 911, the Crime TipLine at (340) 778-4950, or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-TIPS.
