U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority announced that road closures will be in effect on Queen Cross, East Street, King Street and Customs House Street in Frederiksted, St. Croix on Monday, June 7, 2021, and traffic flow will be detoured.

During the road closures, water system personnel will determine the extent to which any service interruptions are necessary for a contractor to complete connection of a few remaining new water lines.

While water service interruptions are not anticipated on Monday, some customers may experience reduced water pressure from time to time this week as quality tests are performed on the newly installed service lines.
