🌱Sarm Heslop Boyfriend Tries To Sell Yacht + Vaccines For Kids

  1. The V.I. Health Department has pre-ordered 600 vaccine doses and plans to order 900 more in preparation to vaccinate children ages 5 to 11. “We continue to plan with providers to start immunizing our children at the same time with the rest of the nation,” said Health Commissioner Justa Encarnacion at a Government House press briefing Tuesday.   2. There's a new twist in the case of Sarm Heslop, the British woman who went missing from her boyfriend's yacht off of St. John. Heslop's friends are raising the alarm that the boyfriend, Ryan Bane, is now trying to sell the yacht. Their concern: the yacht has never been searched. VI Police Spokesman Toby Derima told Fox News in August, "the Virgin Islands Police Department sought a search warrant for the Siren Song on multiple occasions, but was denied by the courts.   3. A 59-year-old St. Croix man is the 82nd person to die of COVID-19 in the USVI. (St. Thomas Source)
  4. This may not be news to residents, but it's still worth reading the News of St. John's take on food prices in the USVI. Their advice to visitors is worth noting: "if you are planning a trip this year, maybe bundle a bit more resources into your food, booze and grocery budgets." (News of St. John)
