St. Croix Man Shot Through Rear Windshield While Driving Home
The victim was injured but survived.

ST. CROIX, USVI — A 27-year-old male was shot through the rear windshield of his car while driving to his home in Estate La Grange on Thursday night, say police.
The victim told police he was driving to his residence when he heard a gunshot and noticed his rear windshield was damaged. He then realized he had been shot. A friend took him to the Juan Francisco Luis Hospital & Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
"The suspect was seen fleeing into the bushes – in the vicinity of Krystal Springs Water – and a white SUV was also observed driving recklessly in the area traveling south," said V.I. Police spokesman Toby Derima.
