Moms know best. It’s a cliché because it’s almost universally true.
Call it “mother’s intuition” or gut-level feeling, but their awareness of their kids’ needs and subtle shifts in their moods and behavior is like a sixth sense. It can alert them to some impending danger. It gives them the wisdom to guide their kids through challenges and opportunities.
Moms aren’t just emotional anchors. They’re often fun and adventurous, interesting and accomplished. They may be warriors who told their kids they’d always be there for them, and they were. They may have shattered a glass ceiling or fought for a principle.
Mother’s Day is just around the corner, on May 10. We want to hear about your mom or mother figure. What’s the best advice she ever gave? Aside from being your mother, who was she? What would you like others to know about your mom?
Just fill out the survey below, and we may use it for a story on Patch next weekend. We don’t collect email addresses.
