Houston Girl Shot After Someone Pulls Real Gun In Water Gun Fight

A 15-year-old was shot in the neck or shoulder area during a childhood water gun fight turned all-too-real.

HOUSTON, TX -- Someone pulled out a real gun during a water gun fight, leading to a teenage girl being shot.

A 15-year-old girl was shot while attending a party in the northern part of Harris County, KHOU-TV reported. According to police, people at the party were playing with water guns, when a real firearm was pulled.

The teen was shot in the neck or shoulder area, according to preliminary information provided by police. She's at Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition.

At last report, a man in his 40s was being questioned by police at the scene stemming from the accident.

No arrests had been made as of late Saturday.
