Jim Jordan, Troy Nehls Among GOP Picks For Jan. 6 Commission
Five people were selected to serve on the commission, despite Republican calls to boycott the investigation.

WASHINGTON, DC — House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday named five Republican congressmen to the Democrat-led commission that will investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Serving on the panel will be Republican Reps. Jim Banks of Indiana, Jim Jordan of Ohio, Rodney Davis of Illinois, Kelly Armstrong of North Dakota and freshman Troy Nehls of Texas, CNN reported.
McCarthy said he chose members who represent a variety of views. While some Republicans called on the GOP leader to boycott the investigation altogether, McCarthy said it was important to have their side represented.
