Amazon Black Friday Deals Already Up: How To Save Early
Amazon is already running Black Friday deals, so you don't have to wait for the end of the month.

Halloween is over. November is here. Shopping season, whether you like it or not, is upon us.
Amazon's Black Friday deals page is already live, and the company will be rolling out new discounts and savings every day until the big day. It's the first major retailer we've seen this year already ramping up and promoting discounts this far out.
So, ready to knock out your holiday shopping early so you don't have to fight anybody for the last TV? Want to save money on holiday favorites but not wait for the end of the month for the really big deals to start?

This will be the page where Amazon will be promoting its Black Friday deals this month through the big day. You'll see a mix of daily deals, lightning deals (which only last for a few hours) and running deals good for several days or more.
You can check that page over the next month to see what kinds of goodies Amazon is promoting.
Or — shameless plug alert — you can sign up for our new Dealtown Patch, and we'll send you an email once a day with the best deals we find from all over the internet. Here's more information on how it works.
Tuesday, for instance, Amazon was featuring big savings on a monstrous smart TV, a multi-cooker and winter coats. You can see our roundup of all the best deals today here.
There were also great prices on Kindle e-readers for the book-lovers in your life (or for yourself).
Some of the deals are for Amazon Prime members only, but you can try that for 30 days free here (and knock out your holiday shopping before the free trial is up).
And in its quest for world domination, Amazon also announced a few other nifty features to make holiday shopping even easier:
- "Package X-Ray" in Amazon's iPhone app will let people scan packages with their phone to figure out what's inside without opening it. That'll be handy for sorting out what gift is for who without spoiling the surprise.
- "Search Anything" will also work through the iPhone app. You can scan a bar code while in a store and find that item — or something similar — on the Amazon app for comparison shopping. Sinister stuff.
So, again, bookmark this page to see these Black Friday deals, or let us do the hard work for you and subscribe to the Dealtown Patch.
