Hurricane Shopping List: 13 Things To Have On Hand
Let the Boy Scout motto be your guide to hurricane season: Be prepared.

When it comes to hurricanes, there are a lot of things we can't predict. But as we saw with Harvey and now with Irma, what we can do is be as prepared as possible for if and when these deadly storms strike.
Of course, the most important thing to do is heed the warnings of local officials. Beyond that, you can make sure you're well stocked on water, food and everything else you might need if you're advised to wait out the storm.
First things first: Read through this Hurricane Safety Checklist from the Red Cross. Then get shopping. Here are 13 things we plan to have on hand all season long.
