President Trump Addresses The United Nations: White House Schedule September 19

In the evening, the president and Melania host a diplomatic reception.

THE PRESIDENT

In the morning, President Trump will address the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly - his first speech before the organization.

It's expected he will continue with some of the criticisms of the UN but in the more measured tone of his remarks Monday as opposed to the more strident speeches during the presidential campaign.

Afterward, Trump will then meet will then meet with the Secretary General of the United Nations and then attend a lunch hosted by him.

In the afternoon, the president will meet with the President of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Trump will then head to the New York Palace for a meeting with the Amir of Qatar.

In the evening, he's in a photo op with the leaders of the UN member states and then - along with the First Lady - hosts a diplomatic reception.

It's then back to Trump Tower for the night.

THE VICE PRESIDENT

Vice President Mike Pence will participate in a meeting with High Representative of the European Union Federica Mogherini.

Pence then heads back to Washington D.C. to participate in the Senate Republican Policy Lunch.

He then heads back to New York for a meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi of Pakistan.

In the evening, Pence - along with his wife - attend the diplomatic reception hosted by the President and First Lady.
