President Trump Mulling 25 Percent Foreign Car Tariff: Report
Trump reportedly wants to move forward with the plan in spite of Republican GOP leaders and businessmen.

WASHINGTON, DC — President Donald Trump is mulling over a 25 percent tariff on nearly $200 billion in foreign-made automobiles, according to The Washington Post. Trump previously said levying tariffs on foreign-made vehicles could influence Americans to buy more U.S.-made vehicles — something that would be a boon to domestic workers.
The newspaper said Trump wants to move forward with the plan in spite of Republican GOP leaders and businessmen who oppose the proposal fearing it could hurt the economy.
