Probe Focuses On Intruder To Trump's 'Other' White House: Report
Federal authorities are reportedly looking into potential Chinese intelligence operations targeting Trump and Mar-a-Lago.

PALM BEACH, FL — Federal authorities are looking at possible Chinese intelligence operations aimed at President Donald Trump and his private Palm Beach club, Mar-a-Lago, according to a report. The investigation also involves Li "Cindy" Yang, the Miami Herald reported Wednesday, citing anonymous sources.
Yang is a massage parlor owner who reportedly advertised events at Trump's club with advertisements targeting business elites in China, hoping to get access to the president and his family.
The revelation comes a day after news broke that a woman carrying two Chinese passports and a device containing computer malware lied to Secret Service agents and briefly gained admission to the exclusive club over the weekend.

Federal prosecutors say Yujing Zhang approached a Secret Service agent at a checkpoint outside the Palm Beach club Saturday afternoon and said she was a member who wanted to use the pool. She used the passports as ID.
Agents said she wasn't on the membership list, but a club manager thought Zhang was a member's daughter. When asked if the member was her father, Zhang did not give a definitive answer. Agents let her in anyway though, thinking it was simply a language barrier.

Sources told The Herald that the investigation accelerated after Zhang's arrest. Specifically, investigators want to know whether Zhang is involved with a possible Chinese intelligence mission or whether there are ties to Yang's social events at Mar-a-Lago.
