Trump Breaks Presidential Record For Most Tweets In One Day
President Donald Trump has tweeted more than 130 times, as the opening day of impeachment arguments draws to a close.

WASHINGTON, DC — President Donald Trump set a new presidential record Wednesday as opening arguments in his impeachment trial took place in the U.S. Senate. The record? The most tweets sent in one day.
As of 5:20 p.m., Trump had tweeted 131 times, the most in a single day since his inauguration in 2017. While a majority of the tweets were retweets, the number beats his previous record of 123 tweets set on Dec. 12, 2019, The Washington Post reported.
The president's tweets focused mostly on his impeachment, though he also addressed immigration, trade, the World Cup and his own popularity. He also confirmed he will attend Friday's March For Life in Washington, D.C.
