Trump On North Korea: 'All Options Are On The Table'

"All options are on the table," President Trump said early Tuesday in response to North Korea's latest missile launch. North Korea fired a ballistic missile that flew over Japan before crashing in the sea.

"The world has received North Korea’s latest message loud and clear: this regime has signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior," Trump said in a statement.

"Threatening and destabilizing actions only increase the North Korean regime’s isolation in the region and among all nations of the world. All options are on the table."

North Korea Fires Missile Over Japan

The Associated Press quoted South Korean military saying it was fired from the North Korean capital of Pyongyang. The White House released a second statement Tuesday saying that the president had spoken with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe about the latest missile launch.

"The two leaders agreed that North Korea poses a grave and growing direct threat to the United States, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, as well as to countries around the world," the White House said in the statement.

This latest missile launch came just two days after North Korea sent three missiles into the sea.

North Korea leader Kim Jong-un has conducted more missile tests than his father and grandfather combined.
