The Trump administration believes North Korea has taken steps that "indicate this may be an opportunity for a breakthrough” regarding relations with America, Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday.

“In this moment the regime in North Korea has been dealing, as far as we can see, in good faith,” he told NBC News.

During his visit, Pompeo talked about a potential Trump-Kim meeting with Kim Yong Chol, vice chairman of the central committee of North Korea's ruling party. He said the longtime adversaries still face numerous hurdles.
