Trump And Pence Meet With Tillerson: White House Schedule August 28

THE PRESIDENT

President Trump will receive his daily intelligence briefing and a national security briefing.

In the afternoon, he will have lunch with Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Trump then meets with Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos.

Later in the afternoon, he welcomes President Sauli Niinistö of Finland, meet with him, and then the two leaders will hold a joint press conference.

THE VICE PRESIDENT

Vice President Mike Pence will join President Donald Trump for lunch with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Later in the day, Pence will meet with U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley.

WHITE HOUSE DAILY BRIEFING

As of midnight, Eastern, there was no scheduled briefing, saying it would be updated in the morning. It's not unusual for there not be a briefing on days when the president has a press conference.
